I was an E/Mo and just put on Fireball, and put two auras on myself to give me 75% chance to avoid both arrows and melee. Worked really well too.

He didn't realize the deal about the auras quickly enough, and tried bows/melee instead of FB. It made me able to avoid damage enough to not take any healing with me, so he didn't get any either.

It so easy for a Mesmer to beat its Doppleganger its not even funny. Well yes it is quite funny. He won't even move out of the Chaos Storm.

Retribution and healing breeze worked for me. Either that or change your secondary to necro, use a suicide necro build and enjoy watching him/her pownzor him/herself.

To beat Doppleganger as monk:

-Put all the points you can into smiting (I don't care where your points currently are; with the 50k XP reward, you get all refund pts. back anyway)
-Put the following skills into your bar:Balthazar's Aura, Symbol of Wrath, bane Signet, Smite, and Holy Strike
-When you fight Doppleganger, Run RIGHT up next to him, and cast in this order:Symbol, BA, Smite, Bane Sig, Holy Strike. Attack, repeat spells if necessary. You should win in <10 seconds
